Okay to downgrade 6.60 Beta 5 to 6.55?

Postby Moondawgie » Thu Feb 26, 2015 7:04 pm

If I first delete the files AutoPar2.db3, Downloaded.db3, DownloadedFiles.txt, and DownloadsV2 from my Newsbin Data folder, would I encounter any problems with using all of the remaining files with a fresh installation of version 6.55?

I'd made the usual backup of my installation of Newsbin Pro Version 6.55 before installing Version 6.60 beta 1. After using 6.60 for a week, or so, I decided it would be okay to delete the backup of 6.55 in order to clear up some needed space on a hard drive.

I ike the direction which Version 6.60 is headed, but I really miss the ability to sort messages in the posts window by status.

Thank you.

Dooh, forgot to hook that back up for B6... I put it back to the top of my list.

You can switch back and forth and I believe not delete anything. When you come back to 6.6 it'll just use the new files again.

If you use multiple servers with priority you'll find 6.60B6 is much faster than before. It was 50% faster here.
