Single Tab Mode Column Sort Arrow

When in single Tab Mode and selecting my groups one by one, the Sort Direction Arrow in the Date Column continues to Toggle from North to South although the physical sort of the entries is South (Newest to Oldest). If I switch to MultiTab Mode, the Sort Direction Arrow above the Data Column is stable and does not toggle at all. It seems to remember the columns sort order from the previous group.
