Massive amount of zero byte temp files...

Postby SnakeByte » Tue Nov 19, 2013 3:50 am

Poking around I noticed a temp folder within the specified db location. Inside of it were a majority of "FilteredPosts-.*" files all zero bytes in length. (Over 50,000)

I deleted them and re-ran newsbin for a day. Now I've got 79,525 in that folder.

Are these zero byte files necessary? I noticed that a few had information such as cross-posts. When are they supposed to get cleaned up?

I could look into it. Maybe delete them if they're empty after I close the file.
