I have the 1920pix wide display page divided into two main blocks, one on top of the other. In the top I run four tabs, as they read now: Groups List:(32), Search:(0), Thumbnails and Servers(1). When I choose the Servers tab the display is hard locked into two equal width halves, the left Servers and the right shows about a dozen connections without scrolling down. You do realize the colon is unnecessary preceding a parenthetical expression, or any single item. Save a character. And why not save two more and skip the parentheses, because "Servers 1" is almost as immediately understandable as "Servers:(1)". You know this is one of the tangible clues to my belief NewsBin is authored in Elbonia by extraterrestrials.
I don't understand why the article number and all that stuff is displayed. A simple color coding of the background (green for "doing something", yellow for "ready to do something" and red for "can't do nothing", then all 50 of my connections could be easily shown on the right, and I could stare at the whole stupid upper-left 25% of my giant display that shows an unchanging single server. A waste of good real estate. A picture of some dancing girls, or a metro-sexual walrus could go uppa'left sometimes — surprise me!
