Running Vista on an Intel cpu

I had about 12 GB in the download list this morning and NB stopped downloading after about 7 GB. When I noticed I shut NB down and restarted it after about 20 seconds and the downloads continued on quite merrily. Never done that before.

Nice to see the new post counts for the groups are now working correctly again in the groups tab.

That typically indicates some sort of temporary problem at the server end. When you restart newsbin and it immediately works, that's the biggest clue. Other network issues would tend not to care about the restart. There's currently no outstanding issues I've seen on the forums where that sort of problem lies on the newsbin side.
