How does one remove the search window from newsbin? I keep trying to click hide and uncheck it from view but it still stays.
Anyone know?

You cannot hide the Search pane.
Post Lists are tied to opening in the same screen area as the Search Pane, and if the Search pane is hidden (as was possible in earlier releases) they end up floating.
