Running QuickPar B4

Postby magician1962 » Tue Mar 08, 2011 4:56 am

Sometimes items do not unpack, so right click Autopar -> Run QuickPar.

Normally all OK but today encountered a 'Warning'

Unable to run program tpo process PAR's
We recomend and use "Quick Par"

This is where you you shout at the program "What do you think I was trying to do " :)

Maybe the wording needs a slight change ?

EDIT
On trying to UnRar the following warning was presented
UnRAR failed - UnRAR - Unable to find source files to unrar

CAUSE
Somehow I had inadvertently moved the source files, hence unable to find, however the first warning is still a little misleading

Well, if you move the par then that's probably the cause of both problems. Newsbin hands the filename off to windows and says "process this" windows is what returns the "quickpar" error.

Many thanks for the clarification

Have to say, would not go back to V5. V6 is definitley a winner in my books even with the few bugs that remain

Nice...well I threw away the old new GUI and now have a New, New GUI. You'll see it in b5 when it comes out.
