Can I install 6 Beta into a different directory so that nothing gets corrupted by accident?

It still detects that I have 5.0 installed and tries to upgrade it. even if I try to install it on another drive.

ah yeah i forgot that the installer does but you existing spool_v1 folder doesnt get touched ifg you need to go back to v5

Yeah, you really could just install 5.59 over V6 if you need to go back. Your spool files will be the same as when you first upgraded to V6. You won't have access to any headers you downloaded with V6 though.

Maybe I should give you the option of selecting a different folder for the program files on upgrade. Currently it just dumps them into the same folder where the previous installation was. Anyone have an opinion on this?
