After hibernation, NBpro is in 'paused' state

Hi all,

Something I've been seeing the last couple months is that after my PC (windows 10) wakes from hibernation, NBPro is in 'paused' download state, so if I send it any nzb files nothing happens till I un-pause it. From then on it stays Running, till after the next hibernate/wake. Nothing is being downloaded when I hibernate. It didn't used to do this, cant find any setting that would be applicable to this issue. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Thanks!
Chris

I don't believe there's anything in Newsbin specifically to pause if the machine is going to sleep. It can pause when the disk space runs out. Makes me wonder if during the process of sleeping, the disks are going away before before the machine finishes sleeping.

Are you using an internal drive for download and unrar?

What version of Newsbin?

Hi Quade,

The data disk is an internal hard drive (desktop PC, not laptop), has hundreds of gigs available so not filling up. The disk power before sleeping sounds plausible, though not sure why that would have changed recently, unless new driver in some Windows 10 release? Dont know. Could it be that the disk isn't fully spun up when its starting again, and triggering the pause then?

The newsbin is version 6.90 build 5524. Any reason to try the latest beta version? Any experiments/logging/etc I can try, just let me know.

Thanks!

I have noticed a similar behaviour, when you get a "insufficient space on target drive" error and the window pops up. If you make space again, you'll get the "sufficient space - will continue" mesage, but NB will still be paused and will only resume when manually unpaused.
