Recently downloaded a movie, Stowaway. Some File.nzb The rar files failed to unrar from within Newsbin as well pkunzip. All the files were saved with a name of abc.xyz.bc8c1c763b7bc8.r00, r01, etc. with a different name after the xyx. All the files were intact and by renaming them to abc.r00 etc was able to unrar the whole set.
Is this an issue with Newsbin or some weird format of the rar files? Someone on the site suggested using SAB to download and unrar. Said it worked for him.

What version are you using? I'd use 6.90RC5 since it's about to be released. It's had significant work for obscured files.

Typically the PAR files are used to rename the files to their proper name.

Using 6.90B12 Build 5396. Will try the one you suggest.
Did a quick test with the same NZB and it appears to work. Did not download the whole thing but the names came out right now.
