I have deleted posts that keep showing up in the group window despite me Shift-DEL the post many days (and Newsbin restarts) later. How come?

For example, the highlighted post below is 28 days old but has been deleted several times. It's the same post by the same poster, but it seems stuck and can't be deleted until the "Show Posts Newer That xxx Days" filter kicks in. Then it's just hidden, not deleted.



Any idea how to fix?

If you have a mix of groups in your "group of groups" and one of the groups is dead, you might be re-downloading the same old headers every time you update the group.

I assume you're not deleting the group data with "Post Storage/Delete Store Posts" or "Post Storage/Use Download age" on these groups.
