The Latest stable version of NBP 64 and header D/L

I am currently using NBP 64 6.72 build 4776

I do not like Beta versions so I would like to know what is the latest stable version of newsbin pro 64.

I am having problems with Astraweb updating headers on certain groups. I know there are headers available because they show up on X-News.

As soon as my 180gb block is finished I will be finished with Astraweb.

6.73 is the current release. Honestly the new 6.80 RC1 is better than 6.73 but it's your call.

You might want to disable "XFeatures" in the server advance options and you want to make sure your virus scanner/firewall ignores Newsbin's connections to the news server.

I disabled the XFeature per your instructions

I also checked with Microsoft Defender Firewall settings and newsbin pro 64.exe is set as public and private and the app is allowed to work through the firewall

I just closed out newsbin and I will let you know how the results are
