6.73 - Speed Limiter appears to be malfunctioning
Posted: Fri Jan 19, 2018 2:28 amI use the Speed Limiter feature regularly. However, recently, I discovered that it doesn't seem to be working properly.
I have it set to ~50 Mbps. In the past, this has worked just fine. But when I turn it on now, the speed drops almost instantly to ~20 Mbps, then goes further down to 15 Mbps, and at some point, I saw that it was zero - no activity whatsoever. As soon as I turn speed limiter off, everything goes right to full speed within 10-20 seconds.
(And yes, I am clicking the speed limiter button, not the pause button).
I tried raising the Speed Limiter setting to 70 Mbps and then 90 Mbps, but the resulting throughput tended to hover around 20 Mbps.
Any ideas what would be causing this?
