Using 6.72 build 4776, I find that if I download latest headers and resort the group after the DL and processing that many multipart posts are shown as incomplete. If I simply close the group and reload it, they are then shown as complete and can be downloaded properly.

I'd try it with 6.73RC2. See what happens.

Downloading latest adds updated headers to the current tab whereas reload throws the existing posts away and completely reloads the group into memory.
