I will often see two line entries for a single download (the .r05 and .rar in image below):


If I close and reopen the GoG they will be combined and/or displayed correctly:


This has been an issue for a while, not related to any recent beta. But it seems to be getting a little worse lately.

How I use newsbin: I use headers almost exclusively. I open my GOGs and leave it running 24/7. GoG in question has a basic subject accept filter with two entries. I have newsbin update headers every 15 minutes.

I just ignore it and grab the larger file...

Is this happening in the latest beta version? Try it in 6.73 Release Candidate 1 and tell us if it does the same thing. http://www.newsbin.com/beta.php

Sounds like as new headers come in some files are not getting inserted correctly to complete a set. Closing the group and re-loading is getting them loaded correctly.

Sorry, I should have mentioned that. I am running 6.73 RC1.
