Version 672 still not quite right

HI

I had upgraded from 6.70 to 6.71 but had some problems with the program hanging and retreated to 6.70 which was stable for me. Just upgraded to 6.72, build 4776.

One of the column headings seemed to have foreign characters so I went to the menus and chose "customize" to see if I could fix it and got the crash detailed below. Repeated this 3 or 4 times with the same result. I'm running NB on a windows 7 machine. Going back to 6.70.

Are you using English for the language when you installed it? I have a feeling something is wrong with the language.dll for some people.

Missing $(SEARCH) directory creation such as in; C:\$(SEARCH)\$(GROUP)\
It worked in nb670-full but not with nb671-full and nb672-full
Please revise this is important to me.

I'm not able to reproduce this. I changed my download path to X:\$(SEARCH)\$(GROUP)\ and then added something to download from search. The files are going to this path and the path was created and filled it. Are you using local search or internet search from the search tab?

Where are you setting this path? Is it the download or unrar path?

Seems alright now - no foreign characters. I'm looking forward to using 6.72

Thanks,

Found an issue with how the language dll's for 6.72 were built. The issue has been fixed so running the installer again will update the bad dll files.

If you are experiencing anything odd with 6.72, re-run the installer and see if it gets cleared up.
