invisible Newsbin

When I start Newsbin it doesn't appear on screen (on in the application bar so it's not 'offscreen', and I can't Tab to it). Same thing launching via right-clicking an NZB.

If I start it twice I get one of those 'Newsbin already running' messages.

Installing nb671B3.exe a second time didn't help. Suggestions? Can I uninstall and preserve Settings for a re-install?

We're not sure why this happens for some people. I'd kill Newsbin then search for "Workspace.xml" and delete it. Then start Newsbin again and see if it works.

Thank you very much for the Reply, Quade!

I deleted "Workspace.xml" as you suggested, but still no Newsbin!

Man, it's hard to live without my Newsbin.

Go to the Announce forum and download the latest 6.7 release and you will be able to use NB again.

Like you I don't see the GUI in beta 3 so I re-installed the beta 2 and am up and running again.

When new betas start to be published, I always keep a copy of the older betas in my download folder so that I can re-install them when a problem arises - just something to think about for the future

Bingo! I'm back on 6.7b2 and all is well!

Yup me too, I save everything, disk space is cheap.
