Background Process

Postby JackOfHearts » Tue May 17, 2016 9:08 am

I am running Version 6.70 on Windows 10 and the first few times it ran, I had no problems except completed nzb's that didn't fall off the list. I removed those files from the download list and now when I start up Newsbin, it starts up as a background process and never comes to the foreground so I cannot access it. I tried reinstalling Version 6.70 but this did not change anything. Suggestions?

Do you know where your data folder is? Might search for "DownloadsV2.db3" and include "Hidden" and "System" in the search.

Then open that folder.

I'd kill Newsbin and start by deleting "Workspace.xml". Then try to start it.

If that doesn't fix it, I'd kill Newsbin again then delete that file along with all the DB3 files. This will clear the download, failed, wish and files lists.

I think it sounds like a corrupt file.
