Header Download Failed:ReadFailure

Top-post my problem. Only on one computer. Connecting to Easynews. I can still DOWNLOAD files from headers I already have, but when I try to download new headers, the read fails at 990,000 every time. Any ideas? I upgraded from 6.60 to 6.62, but that didn't change anything.

I'm sure it's something relatively simple - but I'm not figuring it out.

In the server advanced options, I'd try disabling "XFeatures". Kaspersky V scanner will kill header downloads that use XFeatures. Then restart Newsbin.

I'd verify that the servers are configured exactly the same too.

Well - I don't have Kaspersky. fwiw, I've been downloading headers fine, for over a year. Probably since the last time I bothered you. It just started yesterday. I'll still change the setting on the box

Thank you for the X feature on the server. I was having the same problem but was unable to download anything from new groups. As I use Kaspersky I disabled the X and it's now working fine

Sorry just got my system back. I still cannot get headers to download and that x is not active in fact all of them are not clicked. the last time I was able to download headers was before the upgrade lots I've had to redo but I cannot get any headers to???
