6.61 issues downloading using NZB watch folder

I use a NZB watch folder. Newsbin 6.61 is not completing any download from this watch folder. Here is where it gets strange. If I click the "+" button to expand the list the download resumes and grabs the pars to complete the download. This is only an issue with the watch folder.

I think I might know what's happening though not why. I'll have to try it. Did the beta's before it work?

I did not try the beta's. I'm not sure I had 6.60 either. I was a bit behind on the versions.

I'm not able to reproduce this. I dropped an NZB into my watch folder, it loaded, then downloaded.

Want to email one of the problem NZBs to "ts@newsbin.com".

It may not be the watch folder. Every file I am trying to download is hosed. I started reviewing my sick beard logs and nothing has worked now for about 2-3 days. I downgraded to NB 6.56, the watch folder does act differently than the current version but the problems stems from all the files are hosed.

I know you're using AW. I'm seeing missing posts from most files coming off AW. They're being filled in by giga for me. I was digging through Newsbin last night trying to see if the problem was my end.

The one thing I did discover was the occasional truncated post. It was rare enough. Maybe one per set of files that it didn't impact repair-ability but they did all require repair.

Keep in mind that if you try to re-download files manually, you'll want to clean the old files out of the download folder first.

I'm off Astraweb as my primary for 2 months now. I switched to Newshost, Astra is priority #2 in the server list. I responded in the other thread it appears to be bad NZB's. I don't know if we can talk specific NZB providers but one was down for a couple of weeks (about a month ago) and I switched to an alternate which has been fine until a couple of days ago. I switched back to the one that was down and everything worked.

But that watch folder was weird last night, every time I clicked the + button it would start grabbing the pars and complete the download.

You know, most people having this problem are using Newshosting. How about disabling Newshosting and then trying some downloads? I'm not blaming Newshosting, it just seems odd that most of the people with this problem are using them.

There's not enough data to blame them yet.

Been having lots of "dirty Connection errors in 6.60
It cleared up a bit in 6.61, but then got worse again..
Saw the notice for the 6.62 beta, downloaded & installed it.

Won't start any downloads now.

I'm using Newshosting, and their search & download utility (I hate using it)is working fine.

I am having no issues with the new beta and newshosting. I use a watch folder with Sickbeard. I downloaded 21 shows since the beta release without a single failure. I also did some manual downloads and had no issues.

Most of the time this means your security software is blocking Newsbin off the internet. What do you see in the logging tab?
