When I open Newsbin I get a Security Alert relating to a certificate.

Please look at the picture and let me know what you think I should do. I'm using Win7x64.
TBH I have no idea what it is about.

Possibly related, I often find that the MOTD is blank when opening Newsbin.

The MOTD uses Internet Explorer internally, even if you don't use it as your default browser. I believe you are getting this message because IE has an old intermediate certificate or root certificate stored locally. You'll need to bring up IE and clear out the old certificates. I have run the Microsoft Fix It from the 2nd link. Easiest of the options and rebooted.

So far opening Newsbin hasn't caused the issue. Haven't been able to get a MOTD to pop up either. I'll post back if it occurs again and let you know.

The MOTD isn't going to pop up again until I make another change to it. I'll come up with something interesting to say soon.
