How do I get the old look and color scheme back. I upgraded to 6.60 4163 and everything is now gray. Very hard on these old eyes. Do I need to go back to 6.50?

Is it the background color of the lists you don't like?

Yes, mainly. The bar at the top where it says Newsbin and the build is Blue, the bar that shows the current group is Blue, the tabs are cream colored and everything else is gray, the groups, post area, download area, the taskbar at the bottom, the menu's at the top. Everything is gray. I think if the group, file and download area were a different color it would be ok.

I was trying to figure out how to explain it.

In Newsbin select "open data folder". Then exit Newsbin. From the newly opened window you should see a file called "Newsbin.nbi". Edit this file with Wordpad then add

[COLORS]
UseBackgroundColor = 0

Then save and start Newsbin. This will prevent Newsbin from setting a background color. You can also change other colors and the font sizes in the options.
