Cache problems with 6.6

I just loaded 6.6 and my cache is constantly hitting zero. I also noticed it wiped my unrar path during the upgrade. I fixed that so it unrars to a different drive but my cache is to 500 and it keeps hitting 155 while just downloading and when an unrar kicks in it goes to zero. I changed nothing in my hardware, this was just a 6.6 newsbin update.
Hardware is a Core i7 4790 Asus Z97 M/B with 16GB of ram.

That's pretty normal. The way cache works has changed. It's actually used as a buffer now during repair and unrar to prevent simultaneous disk IO from 2 threads.

If that's normal then why? My downloads stop while unraring.

You have plenty of RAM, so bump up your cache.

So how do I increase the cache? NB keeps stalling when it's unraring/paring.

From another thread:

[Performance]
ChunkCacheSize=1000

Huh, I don't know why they did not work the first time. I must have not exited NB when I changed the file.
