Wish list now empty after upgrade.

Hi,
As the title says, my wishlist has emptied after I upgraded to 6.60 b4163. It was quite extensive so would really love to get it back.

Any ideas?

The only option is to revert as the lists are not compatible with the new release.

If you want to bring a list forward then you need to export it from the previous release as a nzb, and then import the nzb file to the new release.

Damn, damn, damn. I only read the info about the download list. Never saw the wish list mentioned. My own fault.

If you make a copy of the existing "program files" folder for Newsbin, you can switch versions easily by simply switching the folder names.

Oh man, Quade that is most excellent. Worked a charm. All sorted now, everything ported across.

Been holding at 6.54 since reading this post. Got a large wishlist. Saving to the NZB works fine but then I have to re-load that each time.

What about this:

Save the wishlist to NZB
Upgrade
Load NZB
Select all, save to wishlist

Of course I loose the original sort order - most recently added at bottom. Any additional ramifications that might not be obvious when taking this approach?

That should work.

You know, feeding it to a custom list instead of the wish list is much more RAM efficient. Then you can add it to download from there.

Hmmm, didn't realize that. Is the Wish List the "Download List" that I watch NB load when it starts? If so, then that would certainly speed up start times. It would also seem to negate the need for the Wish List?

Ctrl-Ins is just so convenient as I browse though a group. Any chance some day I could assign a hot-key to a custom list so that I can quickly add items to it - just like I've been doing for years with Wish List?
