I think Rar/Unrar has gone down the drain
Posted: Tue Apr 21, 2015 4:36 amI downloaded two Rar files. 1 was 3gb the other was 131mb file. I gave up on unraring the 3gb file. I was thinking that maybe something was corrupted.
I had to quit in the middle of the 3gb file because connection speed was showing about 7mbps whereas my
standard rate from my ISP should be up to 15mbps. I found out that my wireless gateway in wireless mode is only testing out at 8.9mbps. So I went back to direct connect. When I restarted newsbinpro64 it autostarted the rest of the download 3gb file. But it was taking a good 10-15 min just to process I got impatient and just killed that download.
So I decided I would try a simple 131mb file. It downloaded quickly but it ran out of steam trying to rar/urnrar the file. I just processed everything manually. It was not a password protected file. Just standard file so is my rar/unrar part of my program corrupt?
my autopar2.db3 file is showing 20kb if this is any help
