Capital letters on downloaded files

Hello
In certain downloads some files usually in a stretch eg r12-r48 will be in capitals. Newsbin shows that the files are fully downloaded but neither quick par nor winrar acknowledge them.
I read somewhere that they were incomplete files but when i try to get newsbin to retry download it does nothing and when i try to assemble incomplete files it does nothing.
It doesn't happen often but enough to annoy me.
Edit Using 6.53

I'd upgrade to at least 6.56.

All caps means Newsbin assembled the files and they weren't complete. That's why "assemble incompletes" doesn't do anything. They're already assembled.

If you watch them download, you'd probably see they were missing parts.

I didn't know there was an upgrade, will download.
The files are not broken, re-downloading fine and show up full in newsbin and search site (no blacklines or warnings).
Also multipar and winrar says the files are missing.

Another user had very similar symptoms and in his case he swapped out his router/cable modem and the problem went away. I'm not clear why a bad router would cause problems like this though. In fact his symptoms were identical to yours.

It's as if a complete internet disconnection triggered assembly...

I'll have to think about it.

Thanks for the help.
When you said complete internet disconnection that happens fairly often, 3rd world and all. But i don't think they correlate to the capital letters, at least not all the time and it never happened before a few months ago (the capital letters that is). It is a fairly new modem (6 months) so I am not replacing it any time soon.
I also get black outs fairly frequently could that do it and again why didn't it before.
I have updated to new version 6.56 so hopefully that helps.
