If you look down at the status bar where it shows two numbers: "Cache: X/Y". What do these numbers showing during download?

How much RAM do you have?
What kind of PC and hard drive is it?

The limits of download speed will be either:
1 - The server.
2 - The network,
3 - The disk drives.

Or some combination. Just because you have 500 to the net, that doesn't mean all paths to the news server are that fast. I've gotten 500 Mbps to my local server but it's sitting right on the same 1 Gbps Ethernet segment as my PC. I have a couple users who regularly get > 300 Mbps going to a couple different news servers. As an experiment, I might sign up with another news server. Maybe astraweb and add it to the servers you use so, they data is spread over multiple servers.

You might uninstall your security software, reboot and try some test downloads too. You can always re-install it if it's not causing a slowdown.

So you have 200 cache buffers (costing around 120Mb of RAM based on typical post sizes of 600KB). If cache is going to 0 free then this suggests that your disk is not keeping up with the download speed. You can increase the size of the cache by editing the Newsbin .nbi file that you are using. Whether this will help you I am not sure.

Yeah, that's probably a good idea. You only have 4 gigs of RAM though so, you don't want it too bug. I might set it to 400.

[Performance]
ChunkCacheSize=400

You'd have to add this to the NBI file. Use Wordpad. I'd back up the NBI file first.

That's because it's not in there. You have to add it.

If you had more RAM I'd suggest making it larger.

Faster hard disk and faster computer could all help too. The performance you're looking for is bleeding edge, meaning everything has to be working properly and the equipment has to be top notch to achieve it.

I had put ChunkCacheSize=600 and I reach almost 380Mbps

My config :
ASUS P5Q-E
INTEL E8400 OC @ 4GHz
2*2 Go Corsair PC8500 (XMS2-8500) 2048MB 1066MHz 5-5-5-15 2.10V

600 cache blocks can equal 360 megs of RAM. Might need to keep an eye on ram usage.

Hello,
Thank you for contacting Supernews Support! I apologize that you're experiencing this issue. In examining the route your traffic takes to our servers and the speeds you're currently getting from the service, we do not anticipate being able to increase your speeds above 298Mb/s. The speeds you see from our servers are highly dependent on the physical conditions of the network between your computer and our server. Please note that we do not place restrictions on customer's download speeds.
It appears that the configuration of your newsreader is optomized to get you the best speeds from our servers.
If you have any other questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to let us know.

Only Eset Nod32 antivirus

If you want to see how it's impacting your download speed and CPU load. You might uninstall nod32, reboot and try a couple downloads. I wouldn't be surprised if much of your high CPU load is from your anti-virus.

Yes but which one can I choose instead of nod32?

You could experiment. See which one permits the fastest downloads.
