Missing Headers on Giganews

Hello,

Just noticed a whole batch of headers missing. If I search on binsearch.info, I found 250+ files recently posted to the groups a.b.sounds.radio.british & a.b.sounds.radio.bbc.highspeed. But when i load the headers from those groups in Newsbin, downloading headers from Giganews, they're not there. I've turned off filters and had a look, nothing shows up.

When I load the nzb from binsearch.info, the files download from giganews, so the posts are there, but the headers don't show up. Makes me worry about what I might be missing... Any ideas?

Search on binsearch.info for "TMFTM", using "search in the other groups". The posts are from "Waldo Post".

I see a bunch of waldo posts, that end about 3 days ago. I tested on two different servers including giganews.

1 - If you look down at the status bar, do you see a number in parens? This number represents header blocks still needing to import. Until that number goes to zero, you won't have all headers available.

2 - What's your download and storage age set to?

The groups are low traffic. You could just "Download all headers" again.

There are no more headers to import. Everything is fully downloaded.

Download age is set to thirty.

I did "Download All" again. They still don't show up.

What happens if you disable the filters in the post list?

There's only a couple things it can be.

1 - Filters

2 - Poster lockout.

Since I saw the posts on both servers, that tells me they're there and there's just some setting in Newsbin hiding them.

I have disabled all filters, and I have deleted everything in my "Rejected Posters" list. They still don't show up.

I deleted the group from my Groups List entirely, restarted Newsbin and added it back, and then downloaded all headers gain, this time from both Giganews and Newshosting. Not only do the posts still not show up, but now even older posts by that same poster are gone, and they DID show up before.

So, I seem to have ... uh ... "fixed" it.

I upgraded to 6.55 (I had been on 6.54). Then I completely deleted the entire folder that all the relevent groups were in. Then I disabled filters completely, and double checked that my lock-out poster list was still empty. Then I shut down Newsbin.

I restarted Newsbin, recreated the deleted folder and added all the groups. Then I downloaded all headers AGAIN. Did "Show All Headers" and boom, the posts were there.

I re-added filters, and they're still there.

So, I don't know WHY this happened, but it seems to be okay now.
