Import folder issue

Postby Biship » Sun Dec 07, 2014 12:30 pm

I keep finding GZ files in my import folder that don't get processed.
Checking the debug log, I see a lot of:

[10:20:24] DEBUG Checking Autodownload: alt.binaries.pictures.celebrities
[10:20:24] DEBUG DbWorker: Db Update Started5: D:\NewsbinData\Import\alt.binaries.celebrities-news.frugalusenet.com-1382706-1382873.gz
[10:20:24] DEBUG Insert Failed: Shouldn't be possible: corrupt DB: alt - "" <some shit>)
(and many more 'Insert Failed: Shouldn't be possible: corrupt DB')

Is the best fix drop the groups (del the spool files) and re-add the groups?
Unless Newsbin has a repair DB function that I am not aware of.

The DB's can't be repaired. It's possible to dump and re-generate them with sqlite.exe tool but, depending on the corruption you might not get anything out.

I think deleting and re-downloading is probably the best bet.
