Cache status needs resetting

Postby adnap » Sat Sep 06, 2014 12:54 pm

Hi All,

Hopefully simple question. My Cache status in the status bar (the bit in brackets) doesn't ever return to 0 any more. When I have nothing downloading, it sits at 200/200 (54). It doesn't seem to be causing any issues, but I suspect it's down to some hard drive corruption I had recently and would like to reset it.

Is it possible to return that to zero again please?

Many Thanks

Paul

In Newsbin, in the options select "Open Datafolder". Then close newsbin. Then enter the "import" folder and delete the GZ files there. You might want to note which groups are listed because they'll be missing the headers you just deleted.
