WSARecv Socket Error Code ?

New problem. NB still works on another machine just fine.

No idea what I should be looking at.


[10:26:52] ERROR Error: WSARecv Socket Error Code: 10060 A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond.

[10:27:54] ERROR Error: WSARecv Socket Error Code: 10060 A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond.

Security software. Particularly if it did work, you upgraded and it just stopped working. Normally this means a firewall is blocking Newsbin off the internet.

Interesting... I wonder if my school is blocking it.

I'll do some checking.

I mean your local firewall. The one you run on your PC. It's possible the schools is blocking it but, if you just did an upgrade and it stopped working, 99% of the time it's the local firewall blocking Newsbin.
