Malwarebytes is Pwning my low powered testing laptop

I don't normally run security software but, I installed "Malwarebytes" to test if it was blocking Newsbin off the net. This machine is a dual core 1.06 ghz laptop with 4 gigs of ram and a 160 GB SSD.

Newsbin was performing like crap and I was trying to figure out why. Looked in task manager and Malwarebytes was consuming about 200 megs of RAM and about 80% CPU across both CPU's. Just something to watch for when trying to find out why performance is crappy.
