6.52 files taking a long time to load...

With the last beta version, I was able to right-click on a forum header, hit Show Files, and the forums files would immediately load. With the released 6.52, I do the same, and the files in some forums are taking minutes to show up; literally.
It also looks like the forums aren't being updated.
Any clues?

I have experienced the same thing and it is also taking minutes to open the parts of a multi-part download. It uses a significant amount of cpu and newsbin does not respond to any other requests until the message is read or the multi-part list is opened.

I believe there's a one time conversion of the header files going on. How about re-trying with a set of groups you've already done this too and see if there's still a delay.

You were probably right about the conversion. After shutting down last night and starting back up this morning, everything seems to be back to normal; or at least running as usual.
