Unrar is broken (for me) in 6.52 final (and betas)

I have a strange problem since 6.52b2 (as shown in the video). Unrar is broken somehow. I waited for release because I thought this goes away with the final. My bad.

As you can see my download rate is steady the whole time. When the unrar process begins, my problems start. Unresponsive newsbin and slow unraring. I use Samsung 830 and 840 ssds for newsbin. So no bottleneck presumably.
As you can see in the video unrar seems to be stuck at the end, the download rate becomes erratic and newsbin starts to write continously slowly to the disk.
This goes on an on (I had no patience to wait longer as 15min) until I kill newsbin with task manager. In the background everything is unpacked but newsbin does not seem to notice. Because after I restart newsbin, the whole cycle starts again.

Any ideas? I unchecked automated unrar for now.

Might want to watch it with "Procmon". See what it's doing.

Ok, do I only have to filter for newsbinpro64 or for the unrar too?
And for what behavior should I watch out? Newsbin alone 6.900 processes, a bit overwhelming.

Newsbin doesn't use "UnRAR".

I'd focus on Newsbin and see what's happening during the unrar. I'm not having any unrar issues so, I'm just trying to figure out what you're seeing.

How big are these rar sets?

Those where 4.7gb. It's erratic. It doesn't happen all the time. Smaller files are allways ok. Bluray with 45gb no problems.

Quade, this only happens with rar files with folders and a lot of picture in it. Any thoughts?

6.52 has a bug where it didn't download enough pars.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm going to guess the rars weren't being repaired.
