NB don't remember downloaded files

Hello,

since some days NB don't remember the files I've already downloaded. It always shows all files as new. Is there a new function in NB 6.51 or do I have a problem?

Does it properly show files you've downloaded with 6.51? There was a change in how it tracks downloads but, your new downloads should be remembered.

This morning I downloaded a file. Now it shows me the file a new.

There's a file in the data folder called "DownloadMarker.db3".

I'd go into options click the button "open data folder". Then exit Newsbin. Then delete this file.

If it works, great. If it doesn't, I'd try re-installing. Don't uninstall first, just install right over the existing install.

I've tried it - both doesn't solve the problem.
This problem exist since 6.50 and still exist in 6.51 Final - After closing Newsbin shows all files as new

I've tried to delete the file and I tried to re-install NB -> no changes.
Then I tried to download headers from a group and marked some files as downloaded. After I restarted NB the files are already marked as readed.
The problem appears only in the search window.

You didn't say if this was search or not.

I'd re-install 6.51 again. Don't uninstall first, just re-install over top of the existing install. One of the earlier 6.51 versions, the installer wasn't quite right.

One symptom of this was an issue with search downloads not showing downloaded.

Yes this was in search tab and seems to be solved with build 3162 - Thanks
