"Show special...use calendar..." strange behaviour

Hi, I'm using NB 6.51: 00 57 E2 87 F0 DA at the moment, but I had this issue before:
When I want to browse a group with lots of posts in it, or just want a specific time frame, I usually use the "show special" option ("use calendar"). Let's just use "May 1st, 2012 - Jan 26, 2013" as an example, it shows me the correct span. But when I want to see the rest of the year "Jan 27, 2013 - Dec 31, 2013", 4 out of 5 times it does not show me the span I specified before (which would be easier to change), but some random, jumbled dates like "Feb 24, 2014 - Dec 23, 2013"(!). So you have to enter Y/M/D again.

Maybe it's just me (I'm pretty sure), who finds it super inconvenient (and a little buggy TBH). Or, as always, I'm the only one who has this problem

I'll have to try it and see what happens. It's possible there's a missing translation step. Newsbin works in seconds since 1970 and windows work in Nano seconds since 1492 (or some weird date like that).
