time between retries

Hi

Is there a way to add a delay between retries for failed articles!! sometimes indexers post nzb's earlier than they are propagated to usenet servers which cause half the download to fail and the other half to work ok. if I retry the failed files manually in 10 minutes or so they will download ok.

Thanks for your help.

You could increase the number of retries. Each retry takes longer and longer to kick in so, increasing it will make it delay longer. If the file has PAR files, it should retry basically forever.

The default retry count is 2. That's about 5 minutes. Keep in mind this also controls when Newsbin decides to do a repair so, it's sort of a balancing act.

thanks Quade

I changed it to 5 and will see what will this do. not sure how long will this be though!!

Hope you consider implementing a timer feature in future releases. so we get the option for number of retries and how often to retry.
