Hi -- not sure why or when this started happening.. Might be after waking the computer up from sleep, because I think sometimes after a fresh reboot it will start working properly again, but since I usually wake the computer from sleep, maybe that's why I can't remember the last time it worked. Anyway, the speed limited just turns itself off after almost a minute. I'm going to reboot to see if that fixes it.

OK I rebooted, but that didn't solve the problem.. still turns itself off at the minute point.. I'll time it -- ok the first time took 49 seconds, the second time I believe took 51 seconds. Also got a 37s and a 40s. Any idea?
edit: oops, system info: i5-750 w/8GB 1333 ram, windows 7 x64 enterprise with SP1; newsbin pro v6.51B4 build 3146
In the past I have also seen it stay on but the actual speed limit was not what I told it -- say I set it to 20Mbps, it would actually show much lower, like 7 or 8Mbps. And if I made it 40Mbps, it would be at around 15Mbps. I didn't test this to see exactly what the ratio was, and it doesn't happen any more.. that was a few months ago.

The scheduler is turned on. You need to turn it off to have manual control of the pause interval.

You can turn it on from the status bar. Near the bottom right.

This has been bugging me for quite some time. Thank you! I never would've thought to look there.
