Once a view is opened in the View Menu, it can't be closed

Postby cathaven » Sat Feb 22, 2014 3:31 pm

I've noticed a new bug in the latest version (6.51B5 - Build 3154)

Once I open a new view in the View menu, clicking on the 'x' on the tab, or clicking on it again in the menu, doesn't close it. The tab cannot be closed.

Odds are you have the Lock Icon enabled. If you happen to have it hidden, like I do, it's easy to forget. Right clicking over the menu area and enabling "Standard" makes it visible. If you disable the lock icon, you can close the new view.

I admit it's somewhat non-intuitive, but I guess it's better than trying to open a new view and nothing happens...

That was it. Thanks. I'd totally forgotten that facility existed.
