Recover or import my downloads.db3 file?

Postby twolf13 » Mon Jan 27, 2014 11:59 pm

Hi, Newsbin crashed and now crashes immediately on startup.

I followed all the trouble shooting steps mentioned on here and found that it is my downloads.db3 file that causes it to crash on startup(copying it to another place and letting NB make a new one on startup and Newsbin starts fine).
I have thousands of downloads in that db file. Is there anyway to import or recover it or the things in it? thanks...t

Typically when it's damaged, you're toast. You might be able to recover some though.

For future reference, it's a good idea to backup that file from time to time.

Obviously you need to change the names.
