6.50: Bright white window backgrounds?

Postby Vocalpoint » Fri Dec 13, 2013 10:40 am

Just upgraded to 6.50 and I am suddenly annoyed by the bright white backgrounds in each NB window pane.

Coulda swore 6.40 had an "easy on the eyes" background color for at least some of the panes.

Any way to adjust this? I found the fonts etc...but no joy on the backgrounds.

Cheers!

What does an explorer (windows explorer, not Internet explorer) background look like? People bitched about the background not matching windows color background. So, in 6.50 it matches the windows background color by default.

You can make it set a light gray color by editing the NBI file and adding

[COLORS]
UseBackgroundColor=1

Or you can change the background color in Window and Newsbin will use the windows wide background color.
