B16 half post are incomplete. When i do an internet search via newsbin the same file shows up as complete, but i depend on watch folders for my stuff. As a result the watch folder files do not build. I can do another post suggest (set download age to 2 days then update by download age), but i have to do that everytime or I get incomplete headers. That is more trouble then just searching for the file.

Any ideas on what I am doing wrong? Thanks in advance.

Sorry to digress but can you explain what "B16" is? I looked everywhere to no avail. My best guess is that B16 means Build#16 for Newsbin Version ??? but can't seem to find that either. Thanks for any reply and thanks to boatable for using esoteric abbreviations/acronyms to enhace his self-esteem.

This will mean beta 16 for the current beta program (for the 6.50 release) that are available via the Registered Users section of the forum. We are now up to beta 18. It is not unreasonable to use such an abbreviation as the current Newsbin beta will identify itself as "Newsbin Pro 6.50B18".

We're up to 6.50B18 at this point.

Had a lot of header troubles with 650B16

650B18 seems quite a bit better for complete headers. But I still see a problem with downloading groups of groups where individual groups seem to work OK. Closing the group of groups and opening again seems to work. The headers are there.

When in doubt with 650B16 I would use BinSearch to see if the headers were indeed incomplete, especially for my own uploads which always showed incomplete on Newsbin.

650B18 does very well showing my upload headers, though I have to re-download headers and click on the "+" twice to force an update when uploading is in progress.
