What's with all the filtered out posts ??

Tv Program "Homies" for example is filtered out even though i've never downloaded it or chosen to have it filtered and i don't have anyone on a block list ?

There's no discussion of specific content in the forums.

Newsbin will tell you why something is filtered, but you haven't explained specifically how something is being filtered - is it showing up in headers and you add to download and it fails? The status column in the post list will tell you why. If you're adding an nzb look in the failed files tab. If you're saying you know something is there but you don't see it in the post list, try disabling all filters and check the date range you're loading.

The TEMP folder in newsbin is filling up daily with filtered out txt files and they contain text about filtered out headers even though i have never set any filters or changed any of the standard install or nbi settings.

Nope , nothing and filter is disabled and greyed out when loading headers.

Standard install with nothing touched apart from adding Astraweb and the download path.

txt file in temp are named txt twice?

over and over again for different parts

Just checked both of my B16 machines and they both have the temp folder full of these double named filter text files the same as Zaydar.

My old laptop with B5 is empty so this has happened sometime after B5.

Hmm well, it sounds like a bug. I'll look at it before we put up B17. Sounds like the message-id filter is kicking in when it shouldn't be.

The messageid filter was new for B16

So, when you open of the filter window you have nothing listed? It's the button that looks like a funnel.

I'm not really sure how to reproduce this. I deleted my "Filters.db3" from the data folder. Then ran some header downloads. It created the text files but, nothing got filtered out.

Just for grins, you might want to try that and see what happens.

What's your "Storage Age" set to? This message also happens when you have headers that are older than the "Storage Age".
