Newsbin version: 6.50B8: 00 A1 F4 C5 84 1A
Win 7 x 64 Pro
Intell Q6600
8 GB Ram

As the title says If i select assign a new path, Newsbin will download it to the default folder (E: Downloads)

This happens if i download:

a nzb through search

add a nzb manually

Every time.

Is there a cache setting to force Newsbin to adhere to the instruction?

TIA,

Ronnie

Well, I'd run the latest beta and see if it's still not working.

You're assigning the path in the download list?

If the PAR file has already downloaded, all the downloaded files get copied to where the PAR is so, that might be what you're seeing too.

As an experiment you could pause, then add to download, then assign a new path and see what happens.

I pause the application everytime, wait for the files to appear in the download / search list (have tried it both ways), THEN right click and select "assign new path". I don't believe this was happening prior to version 6.33 ( i remember it not being an issue then). I'll try the latest beta.

Thanks for the quick reply.

OK, With latest beta, The par/rar etc files were put in created folder. Once everything was done, the completed file was in default download directory , the created folder, pars etc ( in E:\Downloads\show name ) were deleted.

Do you have an unrar path set? If yes, and you disable it, it'll unrar in place, meaning the download folder.
