Help! All Headers fail to display after hard drive filled up

Postby Reaction » Thu Jun 20, 2013 1:58 pm

I was downloading headers for a very busy group, the same time I had the hard drive run out of space.

Now when I open that group the downloaded headers do not show, although newsbin does try to continue downloading the remaining headers. The newly downloaded headers also do not display when the group is opened.

I do not use any filters and and verified the age to display has not been changed either. Lots of Space has been freed up on the drive as well.

This only happens to one group. The database is in the spool folder and currently shows 9 gb in size, however I've had other groups as high as 17 gb.

System is win7 64. I3770k with 32 gb ram so there should be no bottlenecks. Hard drive checks out with 0 errors. My newsbin is 6.50

Anyone shed any light on this?

You probably corrupted the database by running out of disk space and need to purge that group and re-download headers. Right click/Post Storage/Delete Stored Posts.
