Not sure what you mean. Ctrl-Alt-Del is how you access windows task manager. The downloads are all listed in the download list.

Not quite sure what you are asking? Newsbin Pro does not have a Task Manager! Are you thinking of the Windows Task Manager (right click on the Windows Task Bar or use CTRL-ALT_DEL to get at it)?

Thanks for replying. I must have the terms mixed up. I am trying to terminate a large header download. Is there a way to terminate that job so it does not continue every time I restart newsbin pro?

Header downloads don't get saved or restarted on restart of Newsbin. If you have a header download that shows up every time you start Newsbin, it sounds like you have Newsbin set to download headers ever time you start it.

In the "Switches" section of the options, near the bottom, do you have "Automatic Update" checked and "Update when Started"?

Yes I had that switch set.

The problem is I set properties for a group to download 2 years of headers. I want to stop that job and only download daily updates.

Set your download age to 10 then right click the group and "Use Download Age". Next time you download from that group, it'll download the last 10 days worth and then just download the latest after that.
