Will v6.42 handle or know what to do with .REV files?

Nope. Not currently. It's a very primitive system of recovery. From my examination, it's about as good as old par1 files. Meaning one REV file per damaged file. What it looks like anyway. I haven't researched it in depth. PAR2 files are superior in pretty much every way.
