Hi. Up until 9 days ago I was able to download boneless. Now all of a sudden it will not download. I have deleated the folder, purged the group, even installed 6.42 and I have the same issue. I dont have this problem with any other group, only boneless. Can anyone tell me how to correct this.
Thanks

- What's it say in the logging tab?
- What news server?
Typically this is a billing problem with the news server.

Not sure if this is related, but I'm having trouble with that group, too. My speed seems good, until I try to d/l headers from a.b.boneless. Then it drops to around 50 KBps. Other groups, I'm getting between 5 and 10 MBps, so huge difference. I've tried both Astraweb and Usenetserver. Same thing. No errors or anything in the logging tab, just slow connection. It may happen with other groups, but that's the only one I noticed it with. I've tried a handful of others and got good speed.
UPDATE: Interesting...I just switched over from Powerusenet, and had a few days left, so I checked it. Getting good speed for a.b.boneless from them--about 6 MBps.
UPDATE 2: Now Usenetserver seems to be ok re: speed. Still slow on Astraweb, though.

Spoke a little too soon. The speed keeps bouncing back and forth from normal to a crawl. Any idea why?

Got a weird report from another user who simply can't download boneless, even though Dex can from the same server. Highwinds did just change out their header server. Wonder if it's intermittent?

The speed, for me, is definitely intermittent, no matter what service I'm using. As I type this, it's working at about 2 MBps, but last night, it was 50 KBps. Taking daaaaays to load.
