Path name missing a "\"

Since installing v642 rc 3
One of my downloads paths looks like this : c:\NBDownloads\$(GROUP)\$(FILENAME)\
but comes out like this : c:\nbdownloads\a.b.inner-sanctumoffice
and some of these settings seem to stick as recreating the path does not fix it.
