I am running 6.34. I'm trying to upgrade to 6.40 build 2059 (64bit) using the installer. The d/l of the program constantly fails at between 48% and 63% complete.

Error message in pop up box is: "Download failed: Downloading timed out. Could not downoad newsbinpro64.exe. Aborting installer."

Just letting you know in case there is a glitch on your end.

I used to d/l the betas and be on the irc channel in past years. I did not store the link format. If your still using the same format, I'd appreciate if you could PM it to me.

You can try the full installer instead of the Internet based one. We get reports from people from time to time with the same symptoms and I suspect some antivirus software is choking on the download or something. Haven't been able to recreate it myself so I don't know.

I just tested an install and it worked fine. Wonder if your firewall is blocking the installer?
